about me 

I am a curious creative who, like so many, has made a home in Brooklyn, New York.  I am a statement maker—sometimes with a cause and sometimes without. I sing, I act, I dance, I write and I’ve always ALWAYS felt tremendous passion for all of these disciplines. I also love songwriting, and what I call Facebook poetry. Right now, I'm writing and producing an all female musical, and it’s fierce. Aside from telling a story, what inspires me about this project is that I'm able to weave all things creative into one art form. Musicals astound me, and I adore them. To do a musical takes drive and passion, big dreams and big stakes. I love being all in. 

I’ve been taking an acting class this year that has opened me up to the raw bravery it takes to be vulnerable, to be full, to take risks. It informs me as both a blooming artist, and in all areas of my life. It’s taken me a few years to come into my own. I was living in a shyness that wasn’t my truth—afraid of my potential, afraid of what I could be. But I have finally arrived and am ready to live out loud, and encourage others to do the same. I am ready to be brave, to be strong, to be me. My name is Sara, and I appreciate you taking a moment to get to know a little bit about me, and surf my world.
